A noise rock quartet from New York City. Laddio Bolocko was a blending free jazz, post-hardcore, and rhythmic experimentation. The band was a significant influence on the initial conception of The Mars Volta with their drummer, Blake Flemming, being recruited to join the band after Omar and Cedric saw them in concert. Laddio Bolocko is often cited as a critically influential band from the 90s, inspiring many later noise and experimental rock acts.
