Eureka the Butcher is the electronic project of Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez utilizing a blend of different analog synthesizers. Eureka the Butcher first appeared on Myspace around 2010, posting six songs. His first official release was in 2013 with Music for Mothers, featuring a modified picture of him and his mother on the cover. When he would initially play live shows he was accompanied by Sadah Luna who would belly dance to his music. Eureka the Butcher opened for Bosnian Rainbows during some of their United States shows as well as ANTEMASQUE.
