Eva Gardner

Eva Gardner was the original bassist for The Mars Volta.  She played with them until Coachella festival 2002.  There are differing accounts for the reason for her departure.  It has been both suggested she left due to needing to handle personal struggles in her life as well as being removed for not being a good fit.  

Eva would rejoin the band in 2022, playing bass and providing back-up vocals throughout their initial reunion tour.  She serves as the bassist for Pink’s band.
