Blake Flemming as the original drummer for The Mars Volta. He also plays in in A Manual Dexterity Pt. 1 and Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fungus. Blake was recruited to play with Omar and Cedric after they saw him perform at a Laddio Bolocko show. He helped record a 7″, The Haunt of Roulette Dares/Cicatrix which was never released. He was set to be part of the initial tour as De Facto presents The Mars Volta, but due to personal differences he was removed from the band. He rejoined in 2006, but again exited after only a few shows.
