11 years after their historic implosion At the Drive-In returns to the stage to reclaim their post-hardcore credentials. In the small venue of Red 7 they assaulted the staged with power and vigor, as if a decade had not passed before. Fortunately, some things had changed. The band, significantly more sober, was far more in control. Sure, we may not have had the same level of manic chaos, but in its stead we did get accuracy and cohesion; a fair trade off for certain. The tiny stage is the perfect setting for the band that had spent years in illegal venues, coffee shops, and dive bars cutting their teeth. Fortunately it seems the building is up to code this time. This run of the band was short lived, but for these few brief shows it is nice to see that original line-up come back together and get one more lap in.

These are the At The Drive-In shows that feature no new material before In•ter a•li•a had released. Initially starting in 2012 the first handful of shows featured the final line-up before the band’s hiatus in 2001.
