“Before Owens’ untimely death from heart failure at 39-yrs old while on tour for Jack White in Mexico, Ikey finished a complete solo album. The album was shrouded in mystery as various versions of the album had been floating around between various musicians and friends. After digging through archives of emails and files, the definitive track listing was revealed and the album was slated for release however unforeseen challenges between artists involved in the project complicated its delay for nearly 10 years.”
