The Mars Volta - Live in Sao Paulo, Brazil
October 09th, 2010 @ SWU Festival

Is this the worst The Mars Volta show? I don’t know about that, but it is down there. Cedric even acknowledged this was a vocal dumpster fire. It’s kind of worth checking out just for that, and also because the whole show was webcast. Imagine no Volta for 9 months and this is what you get. On the plus side he does get better as the show goes on and the back half is relatively ok. I also prefer this version of Interceptions because it has a little more spunk to it compared to the 2011/2012 versions. This is also only one of two shows with this specific line-up, and by that I mean Marcel covering Ikey’s parts.
