The Mars Volta - Live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
November 05th, 2025 @
The Fillmore Philadelphia
w/ Kiani Medina & Feliz Y Dada
Setlist
Notes
There was a full blown power outage during Voice in My Knives! A rare performance of Lucro with an intermission?
After about 10 mins, the lights came back on, the band returned on stage, and Cedric explained, as their manager told them backstage: a basketball player named Victor Wembanyama had just slam dunked the ball in Los Angeles so hard, that the reverberations came all the way to knock out the power, to scare the philly fans, “because the Spurs are #1.”
And as the jilted crowd began to chant for their team, the band cut them off abruptly by dropping hard into a space jam that was much too ridiculous for the Philadelphia sports fans on a windy Wednesday night. The second half of the show would be more fiery than the start.
