This album is absolutely ripe with controversy, with the band encouraging their fans to illegally download it, stating “when you buy El Gran Orgo you do not support ATDI, you support DISHONESTY!!”

El Gran Orgo was recorded during a brief of time where Jim Ward was not in the band. Ben Rodriguez took over for guitar, but was quickly fired due to his personality.

Has a different address for Off Time Records on the back cover.
Track 4 is untitled and samples audio from the reality tv show COPS while part of the song Fahrenheit plays on the background. Both are notably slowed down.
